Evidence of the Higgs Boson (God Particle)

I've had my fair share of physics (personally found a disconnect to practical living) and chemistry (loved this subject) classes in high school and college, but apparently found myself not pursuing any science based career. In all candidness, however, there is no escape. Whatever we do in life, science is all around us and we are continuously affected by how much and how far scientists and engineers can take us in manipulating whatever aspect or component of nature there is to manipulate or control.

Anyway...I just recently found out that scientists have found reason to believe that the theoretical particle known as the Higgs Boson might just exist. I certainly don't have the expansive expertise in this field, so I'll let the URL links do all the talking and explaining:

The terms that have come to mind are:

Coalesce, cohere, combine, integrate, join, merge, unite, anabolize, synthesize, create, gravitate towards each other, hey you can throw in whatever www.thesaurus.com has to offer.

What indeed is that driving force that allows everything in the Universe to find themselves "creating" and forming instead of just being merely scattered and disassociated components floating in the vacuum of space?

Yup we can be men or fans of science, discover our limits as we put our own terminologies, language, and definitions onto the Universe to bring sense to our observations and experiences, and still have faith in a Force beyond cognitive sentience. Well, at least that's my take on all of this.
